(IT) Middleware/Application Server Administrator – J2EE/Java

Location: Sydney – North

A large State Government Department is currently looking for an experienced Middleware/Application Server Administrator to join an existing team based in Sydney’s North.This role will be an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend long term. You will be responsible for working as part of a team to manage large scale Middleware infrastructure including a J2EE Application Server environment, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), portal and Web Servers. You need to have the following skills and experience: Experience configuring and administering J2EE Application Servers (eg. Glassfish, Oracle Application Server, JBoss, etc). Understanding of J2EE technologies and application architectures. Strong Linux and Shell Scripting skills.
