(IT) IT Business Support Manager/Senior Project Manager Financial Markets
Rate: Up To $160k Location: Sydney – CBD
Experience with either Midas or Kondor+ systems. Experience of financial instruments. Salary package of up to $160,000 + 30% bonus This is a key role to deliver STP services across the front, middle and Back Office functions of this high profile financial markets/treasury client. This is a key role where you will be responsible for managing an in-house team that supports Kondor+ and Midas across the Front Office through to settlements, whilst liaising with internal key stakeholders. You will have a technical background with solid project management experience and will be responsible for a team of up to 8-9 which could fluctuate depending on project work. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the following: Define and deliver structured processes to ensure client satisfaction. Ensure technical solutions meet the business needs. Manage a technical team to ensure all development, testing and UAT is carried out to agreed deliverables. Be instrumental in building and maintaining project methodologies. Be prepared to be a hands on contributor to the team. Vendor management. To be considered for the role you will ideally have come from an applications technical background and have moved to project management. Good skills in the SDLC and Project Management accreditation would be well regarded. An understanding or working knowledge of financial instruments would be highly advantageous. A tertiary qualification in either computing or accounting is preferred as is previous experience in the financial markets sector.
