(IT) Senior Field Technician – NSW Wide (Syd) – $60-70K Pa Base
Rate: $60k-70k Location: Sydney, New South Wales
Senior Field Technician – Servicing NSW state based out of North Ryde. Large Organisation Sydney North Ryde Location $60-70K pa Base Salary Working as the Senior Field Technician leading other technicians and working closely with the states IT Manager and IT teams, you will be responsible for the State (NSW) and various travels will be required. Using experience within a similar role or a role in which you used the key skill sets, the candidate will be a forward thinker with good client, customer and stakeholder liaison skills, dealing with various people on an ongoing basis from Executives, Doctors, Helpdesk support and others. Maintain & improve the operational availability of the Desktop, Network, Server (Windows & Linux) and Medical System fleet. To build, develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service. Manage projects directly and/or manage project resources or contracted suppliers Develop and/or maintain solution standards/processes/policy documentation as agreed, having regard for accepted business standards, such as ITIL, Prince 2. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with the following: Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience (min 5 years) Desktop and peripheral hardware Desktop operating systems (Windows) Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, TCP/IP Networking, Local and Wide area network technologies, Server and Network operating systems, Modern Computing and Storage technologies System integration Highly desirable is a candidate who has SQL (Database Administration) skills and/or exposure and a wide variety of skills and attributes they can rely upon within the role.
