Iconic financial services provider is seeking analyst programmers with a strong SQL/Unix background to join its advisory aligned IT team. My client operates one Australia”s fastest growing WRAP service with over 2 billion funds under management across 100 dealer groups. This is an excellent opportunity to join this rapidly expanding organisation from the ground up. You will possess: 3+ years working across the full software development lifecycle Proven SQL ability, writing stored procedures (Sybase/MS SQL Server) Experience writing Unix Shell scripts Experience working with Java/J2EE Demonstrable problem solving skills Ability to work under pressure You will be involved in: Designing, developing and delivering software for various Back Office systems. Supporting Web based applications as well as the Back Office systems Establishing and developing strong business relationships with the business and technical stakeholders to discuss changes and issues. Working on support issues with team members, resolving operational issues Prior financial services is by no means imperative, although will be regarded highly.
