Our client an Australian IT Services business, operating across the Australasian region is seeking an experienced Network Management Specialist to join their team. This role will see you provide specialised network analysis and support, from a Remote Enterprise Management Centre, to a Federal Government secured services client. The primary focus of the role will be around Operational System Support (OSS) Network Management tools with an emphasis on reporting, trend analysis, fault cause analysis and the provision of recommendations to clients on application data flows and network impact. To be the successful candidate you will offer the following skills and experience: Proven track record working in a managed services or support role in an operational area. Must have experience with supporting and administering HP Openview Suite. Support and configuration of Cisco Routers, Switches and Ciscoworks. Knowledge of Compuware highly desirable. Some onsite work may be required from time to time to resolve issues that can not be resolved remotely from the EMC.
